Fireworks on the Fourth

On the Fourth of July 2021, I joined my family to watch fireworks from a boat on the Hudson River. As the fireworks started, I couldn’t take my eyes off the night sky as the colorful flares were as bright as daylight. The fireworks are such a perfect representation of everything I love about the US and NYC, loud, flashy, and uniquely beautiful in a way that elicits a love and patriotism.
